Episode 35: Moon Blob Song

AIR DATES: July 29, August 5, 1991

Description:

A reworking of Episode 24: "Moon Blob."

The signature Moon Blob Song is more elaborately visualized, and triggered by a nonsensical set of man-on-the-street interviews instead of a fractured Mark Audrain lecture.

In an additional new monologue, a young man recounts the all-night binge, brawl, police chase and subsequent jail time which led him to finally quit drinking. It’s an appalling tale told with naked honesty, and compliments the others perfectly.

King Zeke is missing, though, so this show, while very fine, never quite reaches the giddy heights of the original “Moon Blob.”
